How Twitter Saved Me $33 And Got You 500 Free Business Cards

I have been using Uprinting.com for my business cards for a few years. They are a great company and have tons of options for your cards. I like that they offer non-standard sizes for us creative types who can’t stand to be normal.
I have always had a good experience with them and their product. That is why I was surprised when my newest batch of business cards showed up with a black dot blemish on about half of the cards. I tweeted about it on twitter, and literally within minutes I had tweet back from them asking me for the details. I let them know what had happened, and later that day received a personal phone call from a guy named Sam. Sam told me he had a new batch of cards already in production and that they are going to send me out some new cards.
That’s what I’m talking about! We all know how big of a pain customer service can be sometimes. This is a Grade-A example of how companies should treat their customers. Obviously Sam at Uprinting.com knows that putting customers ahead of a simple dollar will help the bottom line in the long run. Thanks Sam!
Now, on to the good part…
Uprinting.com has offered to give 4 sets of 500 Business Cards away to 4 of my readers. All you have to do is leave a comment below with your name and email. On Monday August 24th, I will pick 4 comments at random and send you the details on how to get your free business cards. There is no catch. You won’t be added to a mailing list or spammed to death. Just FREE CARDS!

hey buddy…I’m always up for some free cards. Can you hand-deliver them to me at WCPDX? :)
Site looks good BTW
Hey Vin. This is a great example of customer service. We can learn a lot from this even within the church!
John
I will be there with bells on, but I think the free cards will come in the form of a promo code to use at checkout.
PS. I look forward to your talk about WP-eCommerce
AWESOME! I am in for some new cards! As for what you should blog about– how about mistakes to avoid when trying to manage a website on your own! My suggestion– use Vin Thomas from the start!
(Vin please delete my duplicate comments. The site didn’t update so I thought it wasn’t working. oops.)
Business cards? For free?? Oh yeah, sign me up!
Now I would just have to come up with a layout/design if I happen to be one of the lucky ones chosen!
That’s wicked, I love good customer service.
I’m always impressed by great customer service — and I don’t have proper business cards for my hyperlocal site yet. :-)
Free cards would be a great start to my small Business. I dont need hand delivery, mail is fine.
That’s awesome!!!!!
I have an unusual business card size and no one wants to print them its just a 7 in by 2 in card
Something like this would be great for an up and coming artist like me.
Free business cards?! hellyeah!
I’m too late to the game, eh?
That’s amazing, i will have to see about using them, and I could always use me some free cards.
Me too Vin…I’m not really “speaking” so to say…will just be available during unconference time.
Perfect timing Vin. Great way to help my new business out. We can talk where to mail. Thanks.
Wow! This site looks great! I didn’t know that you had it!
I think that you should blog about the various sites that you’ve found to help keep you and/or your business organized.
Hey, I’m leaving you a comment. I think I should get some free business cards. However, since it is completely random, I won’t be bringing you any Sonic as a bribe…
I would also have to agree with my wife. You have kept me somewhat tech savvy by informing me of all the sites/tools you come across. That would be some good reading.
Alright, let me know if my bribe will work and what you want from Sonic.
Peace.
Vin Tom is the bom
Just for tweeting and retweeting
You could win lots of thin’s
He’s got cards for tech ‘tards

I don’t think it is fair that I can’t win these cards. Can you not do business with Canadians? Maybe you can help with my “logo / business look”.
I would love to win this prize.
Great for business. Thank you.
