How Twitter Saved Me $33 And Got You 500 Free Business Cards

Posted on Thursday, August 20th, 2009

business-card

I have been using Uprinting.com for my business cards for a few years. They are a great company and have tons of options for your cards. I like that they offer non-standard sizes for us creative types who can’t stand to be normal.

I have always had a good experience with them and their product. That is why I was surprised when my newest batch of business cards showed up with a black dot blemish on about half of the cards. I tweeted about it on twitter, and literally within minutes I had tweet back from them asking me for the details. I let them know what had happened, and later that day received a personal phone call from a guy named Sam. Sam told me he had a new batch of cards already in production and that they are going to send me out some new cards.

That’s what I’m talking about! We all know how big of a pain customer service can be sometimes. This is a Grade-A example of how companies should treat their customers. Obviously Sam at Uprinting.com knows that putting customers ahead of a simple dollar will help the bottom line in the long run. Thanks Sam!

Now, on to the good part…

UPrinting-LogoUprinting.com has offered to give 4 sets of 500 Business Cards away to 4 of my readers. All you have to do is leave a comment below with your name and email. On Monday August 24th, I will pick 4 comments at random and send you the details on how to get your free business cards. There is no catch. You won’t be added to a mailing list or spammed to death. Just FREE CARDS!

  3. vintom says:

I will be there with bells on, but I think the free cards will come in the form of a promo code to use at checkout.

PS. I look forward to your talk about WP-eCommerce

  4. Adrian Amo says:

AWESOME! I am in for some new cards! As for what you should blog about– how about mistakes to avoid when trying to manage a website on your own! My suggestion– use Vin Thomas from the start!

  5. Bud Austin says:

(Vin please delete my duplicate comments. The site didn’t update so I thought it wasn’t working. oops.)

I have an unusual business card size and no one wants to print them its just a 7 in by 2 in card

Wow! This site looks great! I didn’t know that you had it!
I think that you should blog about the various sites that you’ve found to help keep you and/or your business organized.

  17. Chad says:

Hey, I’m leaving you a comment. I think I should get some free business cards. However, since it is completely random, I won’t be bringing you any Sonic as a bribe…

I would also have to agree with my wife. You have kept me somewhat tech savvy by informing me of all the sites/tools you come across. That would be some good reading.

Alright, let me know if my bribe will work and what you want from Sonic.

    Peace.
