The Importance of Taking A Break

Some­ti­mes I have a pro­blem slo­wing down. I feel like if I am not “busy” I am not being pro­duc­tive. But I think I have come to the rea­li­za­tion that breaks are neces­sary. My family and I are hea­ding out of town tomo­rrow for 2 days for a little vaca­tion. We’re ren­ting a condo up at Eagle Crest resort near Bend, OR. This will be the first vaca­tion (apart from visi­ting family) we’ve taken since our Honey­moon almost 5 years ago.

There are dozens of great Twit­ter appli­ca­tions on the market today. Many of them have star­ted to inte­grate sup­port for other social media ser­vi­ces. One of the new kids on the blog is a Mac appli­ca­tion called Socia­lite. Socia­lite is fully fea­tu­red social media app that gives the old school apps a run for their money.

Review: Backblaze For Online Backup

I regu­larly use Time Machine to backup my files to an exter­nal hard drive. This is great if my laptop hard drive fails, but what hap­pens if there is a fire and my exter­nal drive gets burned up along with my laptop? What hap­pens if a thief breaks in and takes everything? I would lose all my pic­tu­res of my family. All my client work would be lost! Every song I have writ­ten, every song I have purcha­sed. It would all be gone. For some people, this might not be a big deal. But to me, that would be epic. Luc­kily, Back­blaze is a great (affor­da­ble) option to keep my data backed up and secure online.
