I have been working slowly on a redesign for my website for the last few months. Progress on it has been very hit and miss. My goal is to get it done while my wife is in Hawaii this week. In fact, part of the reason I’m writing this post is to light a fire under my butt to just get it done!

I have been busy lately working on a few fun projects. One of them has been a collaborative effort between myself an a bunch of other great Christian designers and techies. It’s called Crucified Creative. Right now we have a blog started and are looking to branch out into other areas as we grow.

A few months ago I was interviewed by Web Designer Magazine out of the UK. I kind of forgot about it until a few people contacted me and said they had read the article that featured my work. So if you pick up Issue 166 of Web Designer Magazine, make sure to keep an eye out for yours truly.
Sometimes I have a problem slowing down. I feel like if I am not “busy” I am not being productive. But I think I have come to the realization that breaks are necessary. My family and I are heading out of town tomorrow for 2 days for a little vacation. We’re renting a condo up at Eagle Crest resort near Bend, OR. This will be the first vacation (apart from visiting family) we’ve taken since our Honeymoon almost 5 years ago.

I was sitting in Starbucks this morning when a young guy came up to the counter. When the Barrista asked him how he was he grunted and said “I hate Mondays”.
